Margot di ConoMargot di Cono is an internationally recognized graphic artist, known as a Master of Mezzotint, but a few years ago she focused on her life long fascination with jewelry. Born in Krakow, Poland, di Cono studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, where she received Master of Fine Arts degree and pursued postgraduate studies in Philosophy. In 1987 she emigrated to Canada and in 1994 was elected to the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts. She has had numerous exhibitions in USA, Canada, France, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Iceland, and received international awards, including the “Premio Biella 2000” in Italy. Her work is in several Museums and Public collections including Vatican Collection; Bibliotheque National in Paris, France; “Museum of Art and History” in Geneva, Switzerland. |
