“I am keenly interested in the way that decorative patterns have evolved from the study of natural forms. My designs originate from patterns and shapes in nature and are translated into ornamental motifs through abstraction, stylized repetition and symmetry. The Rosette Brooch Series displays exuberant delight in multi-layered fanciful natural forms, emphasized by texture, color and the inherently unique quality of each handmade form.”
