Inspired by nature, Barbara Seidenath constantly investigates and explores sculptural forms and designs with enamels, precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones. Seidenath received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Goldsmithing from SUNY, New Paltz, New York, followed by a Masters of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich, Germany, where she studied with the renowned jeweler, Herman Junger.
Barbara Seidenath has taught at the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI since 1994 as well as at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
