Daphne Krinos creates jewels that are a joy to behold and wear in gold and heavily oxidized silver, reminiscent of Berlin iron jewelry made in the first half of the 19th Century. This heavily oxidized silver gives her jewelry a graphic drawing-like quality and accentuates the color of the stones she uses. Krinos works spontaneously, without a sketch, allowing her materials to guide her through the design process.
