Linda Threadgill holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia. She is a recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Individual Fellowship and an Artisan Member of the Society of American Silversmiths.
Statement
“I am keenly interested in the way that decorative patterns have evolved from the study of natural forms. My designs originate from patterns and shapes in nature and are translated into ornamental motifs through abstraction, stylized repetition and symmetry.”
